CORPORATE PROFILE
INCORPORATED SINCE 9 OCTOBER 2003
Established in 2003 and subsequently listed on Bursa Malaysia in 2004, DPS Resources Berhad is an investment holding company based in Melaka. The principal activities are: Property development and construction, and Manufacturing and trading of furniture.
Our founder and executive chairman, Dato’ Sri Dr Sow Chin Chuan established the company in 1965 and has been the driving force since then.
For our property development division, our focus has always been in Melaka. To date, we have completed projects with more than RM50 million GDV, which include the Al-Azim Mosque, Melaka, one of the grandest mosques in the historical state and were officially opened by the ninth Yang di-Pertuan Agong.
For our furniture division, our integrated manufacturing plant in Melaka spans over 400,000 sq. ft and sits on a 15-acre land, with a total production capacity of more than 225,000 sets of furniture per annum. Our workforce is estimated to be approximately 600 people. We were one of the largest manufacturers of Wood-based products and Chair products in Malaysia. We serve major customers across the U.S. and Europe.

Our subsidiaries – Shantawood Sdn Bhd handles the operations of our furniture division, and Shantawood Property Management Sdn Bhd manages the property development and construction division. We would like to highlight that Shantawood has been a well-known brand name internationally since 1991. Most of its international customers will recognise Shantawood for its quality products
